Dr. Bernard Renshaw Beckit Trueman died suddenly yesterday at his home, The Woodlands, Woodland Drive, Mapperley Park.
Dr. Trueman’s father and grandfather were both doctors in the city, and he himself practiced in Nottingham for over 40 years. He took an active interest in the Children’s Hospital, and was associated with the city’s infant welfare work. He was a former president of the Nottingham Medico-Chirurgical Society. On his retirement from private practice two years ago he was appointed honorary consultant physician to the Children’s Hospital. He leaves a widow, one son Mr. J.R.B. Trueman, who is a solicitor in Kent, and a daughter Miss C.C.B. Trueman, who is a physiotherapist at the Nottingham General Hospital.
