Military Hospital, Bagthorpe (Nottingham City Hospital)
Military Hospital, Bagthorpe (Nottingham City Hospital) During World War One and Two wounded soldiers were transported by rail and brought into the hospital from the hospitals own railway station.
At the outbreak of World war One the military authorities took over the hospital, which at the time provided 600 beds for wounded soldiers.
